Sets of 14 Srila Prabhupada books placed in 96 libraries and 7 hospitals.

We found that the most willing recipients of the divine knowledge are those in pain or dealing with pain in their surroundings and those in the path of learning. This led us to distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books in hospitals and libraries of high schools, colleges and public libraries. Our team has placed books in 96 libraries and 7 hospitals. In hospitals, we also have a very good resource in Anjuliji. She is a chaplain in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is trying to give access to Bhagavad Gitas to as many patients as she can. So far, she has distributed an impressive 65 copies of Bhagavad Gita As It Is to the patients.

In libraries, Soumyaroop Prabhu is making a tremendous contribution. He, along with other devotees, has distributed books in over 80 public libraries. My special thanks to Preetiji for single handedly distributing books in libraries in Rhode Island despite a hectic schedule and a family to take care of. Also, many thanks to Dipak Prabhu for leading the effort to distribute books in college libraries and Darrell Prabhu for distributing books in high school libraries.
